7MangaIndo - First of all, I'm also getting this error too. I've tried almost every "How to fix" at the internet. But none of them helps at all.
And finally, I decided to try some random internet guy that said:
"Doc B:
After you have tried EVERYTHING else, do this:
Open regedit.exe
Right click on HKEY_Users and select permission
Make sure that "All Application Packages" exists and has Read Permission
(If it doesn't exist, I'll explain how to add it below.)
Repeat for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Check the subkeys HARDWARE,
SAM,SOFTWARE,SYSTEM. Make sure that All Application Packages has the Read permission.
All Fixed :-)"
And you know what? It's works!
It's not only fixed the Start Menu and the Search features. Also it's fixed all windows 10 apps that getting errors too!
Well, I guess the fault is at permissions after all.
I don't know why it could happens, tho. But if you have the same problem like me, maybe you can give it a try.
Before you try the above instructions, you need to try this first.
Start Menu does not open or not working in Windows 10
To make sure that it was the permission fault. Not because other problems like the application were corrupted or something.
Oh right, I almost forgot to add the instructions.
"How to add user permissions if it (All Application Packages) doesn't there."
1. Right-click at any registry folder that you want to fix, and click permissions
2. Make sure that the "All Application Packages" isn't there.
3. Click "Add..."
4. In "Enter the object names to select (examples)" field, type "All Application Packages" (without quotation marks, of course)
5. Click "Check Names" (You'll see that "All Application Packages" that you types will have an underline on it)
6. Click "Ok"
7. And DONE! You'll see that the "ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES" there.
Don't forget to check the "allow" read permission!
I hope it helps :)
